Question 1 of 8
1.
A hash table has 5 buckets and uses quadratic probing: after a collision at the hashed index, it tries the hashed index + 1, then + 4, then + 9, and so on, wrapping around with % TABLE_SIZE. The index is H(key) % TABLE_SIZE, where H(key) is the sum of the key's ASCII characters. The keys "ac" (H = 196), "e" (H = 101) and "j" (H = 106) are inserted in that order. At which index is "j" stored?
